Yeah... I've been down with a severe URI since last Friday. Today I finally feel normal enough to do my usual routine at home. I'm tired, but not exhausted and drained ~ for the first time in days.
Teh Kidlets have been a lil more evil than usual, but I think it was mostly due to me being here physically, but not completely here mentally for them. *sigh* I love my babies, I really do... but it can be frustrating to try to rest, relax & recuperate when all they want to do is bounce off the walls and screech like lil banshees.
Jon was a lil irritated with me "sleeping all day" ~ something I'll never fully understand. As far as I'm concerned, when I'm sick, I need to rest as much as I can in order to help my immune system fight the battle against Teh Crud. If that means sleeping 10+ hours a day for 3+ days, then so be it. When he's sick, I expect him to do the same thing... so why does he give me a double standard? Bah.
Oh well... it's not that important now anyhow.
I return to work tonight. Hopefully I don't get too many "Omigawd, you look like you've lost weight" comments... I know I have lost weight from battling this shit, I just don't want to be reminded of it too much. Especially when my pants don't want to stay up right now. So that's my New Year's Resolution: To gain weight, or at least find the weight I lost... if I can remember where I put it. Heh. *shakes head*
*yawn* Damn... I'm sleepy again. Me thinks after Natey leaves for school I'm going to have lil Katey take a nap and then I'm going to take a lil nap myself. I guess I didn't sleep very soundly last night... Jon didn't come to bed at all last night. Meh.
